Just Like the Show, The Chair's Soundtrack Is a Clash Between Old and New

Netflix's The Chair centers around a failing English department at a New England elite institution. To help prevent the department from collapsing, Dr. Ji-Yoon Kim (played by Sandra Oh) is hired as the new chair to shake things up. Of course it wouldn't be a college series without some drama, scandal, and sex — and the accompanying soundtrack seems like the perfect compliment to the tension.

From Vivaldi to Vampire Weekend, the score sums up the show in a nutshell: A clash between old guard and new guard as Dr. Kim attempts to open her faculty up to some changes. Click through the slideshow for every song from season one, along with a Spotify playlist of the complete soundtrack!
